- Owen Danaher friend and committed volunteer to Congress for so many years, has passed away. His Memorial Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14 at 10 a.m. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Mary Parish in San Dimas.
"I worked with Owen for over 35 years at Congress. In addition, he was the treasurer of the Pacific Railroad Society (PRS), an organization to which I have belonged for over 35 years. The PRS is a historical and operating railroad organization. We run a museum in the former Santa Fe depot in San Dimas, and own and operate eight private passenger railroad cars, which we house in the City of Commerce. Owen will be sorely missed by both organizations."
